The
Tuggeranong Tornadoes are a foundation club of the ACT Gridion league,
participating in all seasons since the inaugural 1993 season. We have
won the championship, known as the Capital Bowl, a total of 4 times -
1996, 1997, 1998 and 2000. Since 1994 the first game of the regular season
has been the Charity Bowl. Proceeds of the day are donated to the local
Cancer Council. The Tornadoes have won this trophy in 1994, 1995, 1996,
1998, 1999, 2000, 2004 and 2009.
